Bumpy Cupcakes

I can't believe I haven't blogged any bumpy cakes yet; they just might be my most popular cupcake!

These are the cupcakes that went with the Five-Oh flower cake.  The bumpy cakes are a tender, moist chocolate cupcake, topped with "bumps" of buttery cream cheesy goodness, and dipped in a chocolate ganache.  I topped each cupcake with a fondant flower for extra cuteness!

OMG, I swoon. I think Bumpy Cakes are a midwest regional thing, made famous by the Sanders Bump Cakes? Does anyone know for sure?

Yes, it's a Michigan thing... Sanders invented the Bump Cake... there are not many Sanders locatoins left. There is one in Rochester HIlls, and I believe one in St. Clair Shores/Gross Point.
